Why are our canoes pink? The answer is simple: we took everything else very seriously!

Aigue vive is a business that exist since 1987 : it is one of the oldest renters of canoes along the Gorges of the Ardèche River. The company is subject to the French National Charter of Quality Assurance.

At the head of Aigue Vive : Sébastien Papillault, a retired athlete who participated in the french Canoe Championship, holds a French State Instructor Diploma, and Patrick Giverso, who is passionate about outdoor sports.

Aigue Vive is a team of 17 passionate people, ready to share with you their love for the Gorges of the Ardèche River. On average, the members of the team have been with us for 8 years, proof of how pleased they are to come back every year !

With Aigue Vive, you will paddle down the Ardèche River in complete safety and security: our canoes are recent and renewed every five years and the life jackets are cleaned every day.

Our water sports base is registered with the Department's (county) Agency for Youth and Sports as a Physical and Sports Activity organisation (Activités Physiques et Sportives-APS).
