The “Trappeurs” descent is a variation of the 8km Mini Descent. Going down the Ardèche with an instructor holding a State Canoe Kayak Certificate will make your activity more enriching and more instructive.
With it, the route will be even safer, and you have the possibility of sailing with children from 5 years old (prefectural decree).
What you will experience
After an introduction to using the paddle, you will practice on the water at our pier in order to acquire the technique... some additional information and off you go!
Along the water, your guide will also be able to educate you in a fun way about the treasures hidden in this marvelous nature and offer you a swimming break under the legendary Pont d’Arc…
Whether you are a family with children, not very adventurous swimmers or simply if you are curious and want to discover the canoeing activity in a privileged context, don't hesitate!
Duration of the descent
For this descent, we take the time!
You will spend approximately 3 hours on the river and its surroundings for 1.5 hours of paddling time.
Distance to cover
You will go down the river for approximately 8km between Vallon Pont d'Arc and the Châmes landing stage.
You will leave directly from our rental base.
The route will allow you to enjoy the riverside beaches and pass under the Pont d'Arc.
Meeting place
The appointment is set directly at our Aigue Vive rental base from where you will leave directly by canoe.
We provide bus transport from your place of arrival in Châmes: we will take you back to your starting point once you have completed your descent.

8:30 a.m. / 1:30 p.m. / 3:30 p.m.
These times vary depending on the period and will be defined with you when you make your reservation.
