What you will experience
You will cross the famous slides of the Ardèche and navigate on a calm body of water without too much current. Be careful, this descent does not take you through the Pont d'Arc! To enjoy both the slides and the Pont d'Arc you must choose the Maxi Mini course of approximately 13km.
You will nevertheless discover the beginnings of the canyon of the Ardèche gorges and will be able to enjoy swimming and picnic spots!
Duration of descent
You will paddle for 1h to 1h30 but you can keep the canoe for 2, 3 or 4 hours.
You will enjoy the river in complete peace and quiet!
Distance traveled
The route of this descent represents approximately 5km between Sampzon and our rental base located in Vallon Pont d'Arc.
Meeting place
The appointment is made directly at our Aigue Vive rental base!
We provide bus transport to your departure point in Sampzon.
No return by bus: you will arrive directly at our pier at the bottom of our canoe rental!

Prerequisites
To sail on the Ardèche, children must be at least 7 years old.
All participants must know how to swim 25m and submerge themselves.
If you have younger children it is still possible to do the descent but accompanied by a qualified instructor.
* Optional: State Patent Monitor: €130 (1 monitor for 15 people max. supervised).
* En option : Moniteur Brevet d’Etat : 130 €
